Isles / NPP Downtown Trenton
The Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP) is a five-year grant from the NJ Department of Community Affairs that is designed to generate visible, tangible change in the Downtown Neighborhood driven by local residents and business owners. The Trenton NPP is managed by Isles Inc.
NPP and the City of Trenton UEZ collaborated on funding a small business plan competition and meet regularly (with the TDA) to coordinate attraction and retention activities.
Mercer County Office of Economic Development
The Mercer County Office of Economic Development provides a variety of business development programs and workshops to help small and large businesses in the County build growing, successful companies.
New Jersey Business Action Center
The NJBAC is a business advocacy team within the Department of State, dedicated to solving problems and maximizing growth opportunities for your business. They connect businesses with government agencies, direct them to appropriate officials, facilitate meetings and follow-ups with regulatory agencies.
New Jersey Department of Treasury
NJ Department of Treasury helps small businesses with tax information, directions to start and operate a business, certification as a small, minority, woman or veteran owned business and to learn about opportunities to do business with the State.
New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Authority
The UEZ Program exists to foster an economic climate that revitalizes designated urban communities and stimulates their growth by encouraging businesses to develop and create private sector jobs through public and private investment.
The UEZA funds the City of Trenton UEZ and UEZs throughout the state.
Taste Trenton
Taste Trenton is a restaurant crawl held once a year, supporting Trenton restaurants.
The City of Trenton UEZ supported Taste Trenton 2024 through the Trenton UEZ Marketing Fund.
Trenton Downtown Association
Trenton Downtown Association (TDA) is a nonprofit organization, located in the heart of New Jersey’s state capital, devoted to strengthening and promoting downtown Trenton as a great place to live, work and visit.
The TDA and the City of Trenton UEZ meet regularly (with NPP) to coordinate attraction and retention activities.
